The College Football Playoff committee will be releasing its new rankings Tuesday night, and one question that a lot of people will be asking is will Georgia remain as the No. 1 team in the country?

Yes, the Bullodgs did beat their rival Georgia Tech badly, however, they struggled some in the beginning before finally pouring it on later.

Meanwhile, Michigan was destroying No. 2 at the time, Ohio State, and ended up winning, 45-23. ESPN’s Heather Dinich makes a case that the Wolverines, not the Bulldogs should be the No. 1 team in the country.

“Michigan has a really strong case for No. 1. Best win in the country. On the road. Monster second half. Plus win against a top-10 PSU team. Will Georgia really still be No. 1?”

It will be interesting to see if the committee will be making a change tonight at the top spot or will the Bulldogs remain as the No. 1 team. Conventional wisdom says because of their record, the Bulldogs will remain the top seed going into the playoff unless they lose to LSU in the SEC Championship Game Saturday, but you never know.
