The Michigan Wolverines are 2-0 to start the season. This past Saturday, they had a big win against Pac-12 North opponent the Washington Huskies.
Michigan put the beat down on Washington as they went on to win the game 31-10.
Head coach Jim Harbaugh spoke to the media today ahead of the last non-conference game for the Wolverines as they get set to face the NIU Huskies.
Harbaugh at today’s press conference was so, let’s just say, Harbaugh.
He talked about how the win on Saturday warms the cockles of his heart, whatever in the world that means.
Jim Harbaugh is at the podium now, where he dropped his second “warms the cockles of the heart” in three days when asked about what he saw Saturday

What stole the show was when he started talking about how many different ways there are to travel. He, of course, is talking about how Michigan moved the ball Saturday night.

He dropped references on how General George Patton did it on the ground, but how astronaut Neil Armstrong did through the air.
Harbaugh said some people prefer to travel via the air, some via the ground when asked about offensive balance and identity.
“George Patton was able to get the job done on the ground. Neil Armstrong, through the air.”

Here is the rest of what Harbaugh said in the press conference:

Jim Harbaugh said Saturday’s game environment was “pretty tough to pass up” for any student considering going to Michigan.

Harbaugh said that he still sees Caden Kolesar’s best role as a rusher on the punt team. They still want someone to take the return job. He said AJ Henning is close.
