In the 2019 NBA Draft, Michigan is the only B1G team with multiple players selected.

First, it was Jordan Poole taken late in the first round by the Golden State Warriors at No. 28. In the second round, his former teammate Ignas Brazdeikis was selected by the Sacramento Kings at No. 47.

According to NBA TV, Brazdeikis will reportedly be headed to the New York Knicks via trade.

Brazdeikis made a huge impact for the Wolverines in his only season in Ann Arbor, averaging 14.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. He also shot the ball extremely well, knocking down 46 percent of his shots from the floor, including a 39.2 percent clip from 3-point range.

Following a stellar first season, Brazdeikis was named a first-team B1G All-Freshman player and was also the league’s Freshman of the Year.

With his 6-foot-7 frame and ability to knock down shots from all over the floor, Brazdeikis has a good shot to find himself on an NBA roster. He still has plenty of development left in his game and needs more experience, but he could have a solid career at the professional level.

Overall, Brazdeikis was the B1G’s sixth player selected in the NBA Draft.
