Michigan’s secondary is receiving quite an upgrade in speed heading into the 2019 season, but that was already a known when defensive back Dax Hill committed to the Wolverines back in February.

But Hill may actually be one of the 10 fastest players in college football, at least according to 247Sports.

Recently, 247Sports’ Brad Crawford released a list of the 10 fastest players in college football heading into the 2019 season. Hill made the cut, coming in at No. 6 in the rankings. He was the only player from a B1G program listed.

Hill’s ranking at No. 6 is based on his 4.30 time in the 40-yard dash at The Opening. His speed is just one of the reasons why he is the top-ranked safety in the 2019 recruiting class and was such a hot target for so many college football programs.

Jim Harbaugh is a huge fan of the skill set Hill brings to Ann Arbor. He wanted to get the five-star product on campus early this summer, as he expects Hill to make a significant impact early in his career.

Everyone should get an early look at Hill, as well as his lightning-quick speed.
