Injury status of Jett Howard, Terrance Williams updated ahead of bout vs. Rutgers
Michigan basketball could be without 2 players Thursday night during its road trip to Piscataway to take on Rutgers. Jett Howard and Terrance Williams are both considered questionable for Thursday’s game.
Howard injured his ankle against Michigan State and has not practiced since. Williams has missed the past 2 games for the Wolverines but was a full participant in practice Tuesday.
U-M injury update: Jett Howard hasn’t practiced since hurting ankle vs. MSU Saturday. Phil Martelli said he’s “making the trip (to Rutgers) hopefully with a uniform, not a sweatsuit.” PF Terrance Williams was a full participant on Tuesday. He’s TBD as well — missed last 2 games.

Michigan basketball is in desperate need of a strong end to the regular season. With just 4 games to play, the margin of error as far as making the NCAA Tournament is concerned remains razor thin. Without Howard, one of Michigan’s top players, that ask becomes that much greater.
The Wolverines face off against the Scarlet Knights Thursday at 8:30 p.m. EST on FS1.
