Injury updates on Michigan's Rashan Gary, Chris Evans for Maryland game
The status of two Michigan players is in question heading into Saturday’s game against Maryland.
Defensive lineman Rashan Gary and running back Chris Evans are both listed as questionable for this weekend’s matchup, as both have been banged up over the last two weeks. Head coach Jim Harbaugh wasn’t able to offer too much detail on the status of the two players.
“Will they be available on Saturday? I don’t have a crystal ball on either,” Harbaugh said during his radio show. “Both would be questionable for Saturday’s game, if we were talking NFL lingo.”
Gary has played in all five games, but has left early in each of the last two with a suspected shoulder issue. He’s recorded 22 tackles, 4.5 for loss and two sacks this season.
Evans has appeared in just three games this season, totaling 172 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries.
Michigan enters Saturday’s matchup against Maryland with a 4-1 record and is 2-0 in the B1G. The Wolverines defeated Nebraska 56-10 and pulled off a come-from-behind victory against Northwestern last weekend.
The Terrapins are 3-1 on the year and are coming off a bye. They defeated Minnesota in their B1G opener.
