The Michigan Wolverines had another awful loss yesterday and with it, comes more smoke to the rumors that Jim Harbaugh could be on his way out.

Michigan dropped to 1-3 on the season yesterday and their season seems to be just slipping away at an alarming rate.

On ESPN earlier this morning, Paul Finebaum tore head coach Jim Harbaugh to shreds following the 49-11 loss to Wisconsin yesterday.

Finebaum said, “More of the same. This was once a coach that was respected, and now, sadly, Jim Harbaugh has become a punch line in college football. It’s almost impossible to watch this guy. He makes $8 million per year. He was the talk of the sport a couple of years ago. Now, no one really knows what the future looks like. It looks pretty grim if Michigan decides to fire him. A lot of people up there are saying, ‘We want to keep him.’ For what reason? I have no idea.”

Harbaugh only has one more year on his contract past this season (2021) and if they were to buy him out after this season, it would cost $10M. Michigan may be forced to keep him another year and let his contract run out despite harsh comments from Finebaum and fans.

Next up for Michigan is a date with Rutgers next Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
