Jett Howard arrived in Ann Arbor as a 4-star prospect and key member of Michigan’s 2022 recruiting class. Now, the son of head coach Juwan Howard looks like he could be just what the Wolverines need this season.

In the season opener against Purdue Fort Wayne, Howard finished second on the team with 21 points behind star big man Hunter Dickinson with 22. Howard did lead the team in shooting while draining 5-of-10 attempts from 3-point range.

The versatility of the 6-foot-7 forward was also on full display. Howard led the Wolverines with 5 assists while adding 2 rebounds, a steal and a block in 31 minutes played.

Needless to say, with an outing like that, Howard had social media buzzing for his personal NBA potential and the impact he could have for the Wolverines this season.
