Jim Harbaugh and Blake Corum gushed about Michigan’s togetherness as the Wolverines knocked off Alabama in overtime, 27-20, in the Rose Bowl on Monday night.

“It’s the togetherness, I don’t think anybody — we’re so together, so connected. We were going to overcome anything that was inside of this stadium,” Harbaugh told Holly Rowe of ESPN.

It was Corum who scored the game-winning touchdown, a 27-yard run in overtime, and then the defense got a key stop on a draw by Jalen Milroe to stuff Alabama on 4th down.

“It was a team effort. Team effort,” Corum said. “We’re going to deal with adversity here. We hit some adversity today. Little sloppy, but we came together as one. I’m my brother’s keeper, I knew my brothers had my back, and I told them, if we tie this and go to overtime, we’re going to win and we came out on top, I’ll see you in Houston.”

The Wolverines will, in fact, play Texas or Washington in the national championship on Monday in Houston.
