Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh goes about losing a bit differently than other people do.

He was asked about putting a tough loss behind him after the Wolverines lost 37-33 to the Spartans on Saturday and compared it to a fighter being knocked down in a fight.

“My approach, very similar to a fighter getting knocked down. Referee wipes your gloves and you come back even more determined with even more resolve to prepare, to work harder, to find a way, to finish, and to win.”

We can’t fault Harbaugh’s creativity with this, that’s for sure. Michigan will have its first shot of putting this approach to good use when it takes on Indiana this Saturday at home.

This is a game that’s very winnable for the Wolverines due to the Hoosiers being both banged up and 2-6 on the season. Kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. ET.
