Last week, former Michigan player Elysee Mbem-Bosse sent a series of threatening tweets directed at former coach Jim Harbaugh, and the police started looking into them.

While it is unclear at this point if they were serious threats or a bad decision made by the former Wolverine, Harbaugh and the police aren’t taking anything for granted.

Recently, Harbaugh commented on the threats from Mbem-Bosse, saying he is confident in the Michigan administration’s ability to keep him safe:

“It’s a serious matter,” Harbaugh told The Detroit News. “I’m confident our administration and university officials will take the proper steps and are taking the proper steps.”

Mbem-Bosse left the Wolverines in November, though he is still a student at the university, according to the report.
