Jim Harbaugh deflects on NFL rumors, questions about future at Michigan
One of the biggest talkers in the college football world right now is what the status of Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh.
The former Wolverine quarterback is in the final year of his contract and so far, things are not going well. Michigan has lost consecutive games to Michigan State and Indiana. Any questions about his future in Ann Arbor have just grown even more.
Harbaugh addressed the media on Monday, and to no one’s surprise, he was pressed on what his status is with the Wolverines.
Harbaugh is definitely tired of the leaving talk, NFL…
Won't answer question on how long he wants to stay at UM. Regardless of what he says, someone else will write the contrary, per Harbaugh. Actions show he wants to be there, he sai

Kudos to @chengelis for pressing Jim Harbaugh about NFL rumors and his future at #Michigan. "I’ve always thought this: Your actions speak so loudly that people can’t even hear what you’re saying. I’ll let the actions speak, as they have in the past." Won't entertain NFL talk.

It would’ve been irresponsible for the reporters not to ask Harbaugh about his future. It’s the biggest story going with that program right now.
It’s also interesting that it’s being framed in the way of choosing to leave as opposed to Harbaugh being fired. That seems like the more likely path at this point.
For now, Harbaugh will try and turn things around. There won’t be much reprieve for the Wolverines, however. Their next matchup is against a Wisconsin team that had two weeks off and is dying to get back on the field.
