Jim Harbaugh is definitely ecstatic that Donovan Edwards was able to play in last Saturday’s rivalry game against Ohio State, even while dealing with a hand injury.

On Monday afternoon, Harbaugh drew attention to Edwards and his effort to play despite wearing a cast in the Wolverines’ 45-23 win over the Buckeyes.

Donovan Edwards, he could’ve taken a knee in this game. Instead, he wore a cast, and now he’s a legend,” Harbaugh said.

Edwards was able to make some pretty monumental plays even with a hurt hand. So, legendary status is certainly on the radar for the sophomore running back.

While playing in The Game, Edwards made sure that his status was not in question. After rushing for a total of 216 yards, one touchdown run for 75 yards, and the other 85 yards, Edwards was on a roll.

So if Edwards decided to not play in Saturday’s game, it probably would have not had the same result.

Do you think Edwards has achieved legendary status, yet?
