Jim Harbaugh on DL Chase Winovich: 'One of my very favorite players I've ever been around'
Jim Harbaugh’s been in the coaching business for quite some time now.
As with any coach, they have their favorites — whether they’ll admit it or not. On Tuesday, Harbaugh did admit it.
Here’s Harbaugh talking about QB Shea Patterson first and then he gets asked about DL Chase Winovich. Harbaugh admits his admiration for the star lineman.
On this week's Inside the Huddle conversation, @CoachJim4UM explains why he has so much trust in Shea Patterson and why Chase Winovich is one of his favorite players ever.
Plus, he tells @BradGalli about practices during the first week of the Big Ten season.#GoBlue pic.twitter.com/HA6n5DXopo

“One of my very favorite players on the team now or that I’ve ever been around,” Harbaugh said. “I really love Chase.”
Wolverines fans do too, coach. That’s for sure.
In Week 3, Harbaugh mentioned that Winovich was the team’s defensive player of the week and there should be many more of those types of performances to come for the senior.
Michigan is set to face Nebraska at noon on Saturday at Michigan Stadium.
