Jim Harbaugh decided to enter his Thursday Fiesta Bowl press conference with a walk-up song. With the CFP semifinal just 2 days away, he felt he needed to enter with style.

His walkup song? “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” by Gordon Lightfoot. A classic.

The song, of course, tells the story of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald on Lake Superior in 1975. THe ship was heading for a port just outside Detroit.

Harbaugh certainly has a flair for the dramatic, but he and the Wolverines are and will be all business come New Year’s Eve against the TCU Horned Frogs. Michigan is looking to get to the National Championship game against one of Georgia or Ohio State with a win over the pesky Horned Frogs. The game is set for Dec. 31 at 4 p.m. EST. It will be aired on ESPN.
