Jim Harbaugh’s future at Michigan has been a big talking point across the past few months, as rumors swirl that the longtime Wolverines HC will be venturing to the NFL next season.

Of course, nothing is official in that arena quite yet. In case you haven’t noticed, Harbaugh is a little busy with his current job. The Michigan Wolverines made a huge statement Monday evening with a 27-20 overtime win over Alabama at the Rose Bowl in California.

When asked postgame what his future will consist of, Harbaugh gave a truly perfect answer. It consists of a happy flight back to Ann Arbor to prepare for the national title game.

The Wolverines may be the No. 1 team in the country, but many expected Alabama to roll in this one. However, the Wolverines affirmed their spot as the No. 1 team in the country with a tough, gritty win despite some rough special teams play that almost cost them big.

Michgan will take on the winner of the Sugar Bowl – Texas or Washington – next weekend for the national title.
