Jim Harbaugh gives philosophical answer about his coaching future
Jim Harbaugh still wasn’t ready to discuss his future with Michigan at Saturday’s media day ahead of the national championship.
But Harbaugh revealed when he’ll be ready to talk about it, however. The national championship is still the main focus for Harbaugh with a couple days to go. The head coach was in a philosophical kind of mood when answering the question.
“Yea, there’s a calendar. I’ll finally talk about the future next week,” said Harbaugh. “I hope to have one. How about that? A future? I hope to have one, yes.”
Harbaugh has drawn reports and interest in recent weeks about a possible return to the NFL after this season.

A date with Washington in Houston is in Harbaugh’s near future. The Huskies and their red-hot offense will go up against the tough Michigan defense. Washington finished 2nd in the Pac-12 with 473.6 yards per game. On the flipside, Michigan’s defense led the B1G with 243.1 yards allowed per game this season.
It will be the 1st time that the 2 programs have met since 2021. The Wolverines won that game 31-10 in Ann Arbor. It should be an exciting contest for fans of both teams and neutrals alike.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET from NRG Stadium.
