Harbaugh is in his first season with the Chargers after 9 seasons at Michigan. He led them to a national championship in his final season with the Wolverines.
He was hired to the Chargers’ post in hopes that he would turn around the fortunes of a team that struggled to a 5-12 record in 2023. The Chargers last made the playoffs in 2022 as a wild-card team but hasn’t won in the postseason since 2018.
Los Angeles entered Sunday’s game with a 2-2 record. It defeated the Las Vegas Raiders and Carolina Panthers to open the campaign, but subsequently dropped contests against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs. During Week 5, it was on a bye.
Meanwhile, the Broncos started the day at 3-2.
