Jim Harbaugh highlights importance of offensive line play at Michigan
Jim Harbaugh spoke one last time before Michigan’s Fiesta Bowl matchup with TCU. At Friday’s presser, Harbaugh mentioned the offensive line play.
Michigan’s offensive line has been one of the best in the country this season with players like Olusegun Oluwatimi leading the charge. Oluwatimi was thrust into a leadership role after joining the Wolverines following his transfer from Virginia.
Harbaugh talked about how not every school’s offensive line gets as much recognition as it does at Michigan. Harbaugh believes that things are different at Michigan when it comes to the O-line.
“I think there’s some schools where the offensive line doesn’t get all the recognition,” said Harbaugh. “It’s different at Michigan.”

The Wolverines’ offensive line helped lead the way for J.J. McCarthy, Blake Corum, and Donovan Edwards to all have success. Corum and Edwards combined for over 2,000 yards rushing thanks to their offensive line. McCarthy was able to throw for 2,376 yards passing and have 24 total touchdowns.
Michigan’s offensive line will have a chance to show how dominant they can be against TCU Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN.
