Jim Harbaugh’s enthusiasm could not be contained on Saturday night. After Michigan escaped Lincoln with a 32-29 victory over Nebraska, the leader of the Wolverines couldn’t help but celebrate.

Harbaugh rushed to the center of the field to shake Scott Frost’s hand after Michigan’s victory. It was a short midfield meeting, followed by Harbaugh running off the field with his hand in the air.

So why is the video going viral?

In the process of running off to the locker room, Harbaugh completely bypassed an ESPN sideline reporter, looking for the postgame interview. Essentially, Harbaugh blew that off.

After owning a 13-0 lead at the half, Michigan found itself in a battle for the final 30 minutes. Jake Moody knocked down a 39-yard field goal attempt with less than 90 seconds to play, lifting the Wolverines to a win.

It’s easy to understand why Harbaugh was so exuberant after the victory. Michigan improved to 6-0 with a win and posted victories in back-to-back road contests. It sets up a great opportunity for the Wolverines in the second half of the season.

Michigan now enters an off week before hosting Northwestern.
