Jim Harbaugh has joined elite company.
With a 31-20 win over Indiana on Saturday, Michigan improved to 10-1 on the season, marking the third time in his first four years that Harbaugh has reached a double-digit win total. According to Nick Baumgardner of the Detroit Free Press, he became the first Wolverines head coach to accomplish that task since Fielding Yost.
By the way, that happened over 100 years ago. So yeah, it’s a pretty impressive accomplishment.

In four seasons with the Wolverines, Harbaugh has compiled a 38-12 record. He hit the 10-win mark in each of his first two seasons, but saw a slight dip last fall with an 8-5 finish.
Michigan is a perfect 8-0 in conference play heading into Saturday’s matchup against Ohio State. The winner of “The Game” will earn a spot in the B1G Championship, a goal Harbaugh is still hoping to accomplish.
