Jim Harbaugh is sharing his first comments about The Game during his Monday press conference. This time around, Harbaugh is comparing the battle between Michigan and Ohio State to a battle of superheroes.
According to Harbaugh, the rivalry matchup provides a great opportunity for the Wolverines to find out how strong they truly are. It’s something Harbaugh wants his group to appreciate and be grateful for on Saturday.
Jim Harbaugh likened the Michigan / Ohio State game to a superhero battle.
“Winner takes the East. Winner takes all,” he said. “There’s no need to hate. Be grateful for the opponent. It’s like superheroes. It’s through a strong opponent that you get to find out who you are.” pic.twitter.com/76NzZcV4Mw

“Winner takes the East, winner takes all right there,” said Harbaugh. “There’s no need to hate. Be grateful for the opponent. It’s like superheroes. It’s through a strong opponent that you get to find out who you are… Congratulations, be grateful for having the opportunity to play in this king of big game.”
In 2021, it was Harbaugh’s group of “superheroes” that came out victorious after dominating the trenches on both sides of the ball. This time around, Michigan has some new faces that will try and test Ohio State up front.
We’ll see which band of superheroes emerges victorious and moves on to Indianapolis on Saturday.
