Jim Harbaugh NFL interview: Report details expected decision-making process of head coach

Jim Harbaugh’s dance with the NFL is set to begin on Monday, and the head coach is likely to have a major decision to make soon.

According to previous reports, Harbaugh is set for his first NFL interview of the cycle with the Los Angeles Chargers. Harbaugh’s connection to the franchise dates back to his playing days in San Diego.

As of Monday morning, NFL insider Adam Schefter reported no decision is expected to be “imminent” coming out of the interview for a couple of reasons. Schefter reports Harbaugh is expected to “be deliberate” this offseason with any decision regarding his coaching future. The Chargers also have other candidates they are expected to interview.

According to other reports, Michigan has offered Harbaugh a massive extension that remains unsigned. It could be a wild offseason for everyone involved, especially in a cycle with Harbaugh holding plenty of leverage after a national title.
