Jim Harbaugh has his mind set on getting that 10th win this season. And in order to get it, the Wolverines will have to play one of its best games of the year.

Michigan will take on Alabama in the Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day, a battle of two of the premier teams in their respective conferences. Over the weekend, the Wolverines hosted their team banquet to honor the 2019 squad. During the event, Harbaugh made it clear that he wants that 10th win.

“We want that 10th win,” Harbaugh said, according to Angelique Chengelis of the Detroit News. “We want it against Bama.”

Michigan will enter the Citrus Bowl with a 9-3 record. A win over the Crimson Tide would give the Wolverines their fourth 10-win season in five years under Harbaugh. Even though the program has struggled to win a division title, hitting a double-digit win total is no small feat in the B1G.

And if Michigan got that 10th win over Alabama, Harbaugh would receive a lot of respect.
