Jim Harbaugh reacts to Sherrone Moore's NSFW shoutout: 'It was beautiful'
Jim Harbaugh was tuned in throughout Michigan’s game vs. Penn State. Despite traveling with the team, Harbaugh was suspended Friday afternoon and unable to coach in the game.
As a result, Sherrone Moore handled head coaching duties and the team to a win. Following that victory, he delivered a passionate but NSFW shoutout to his head coach following the win.
At his Monday press conference, Harbaugh admitted he was “5 inches from the TV” at the end of the game and caught Moore’s comments. The head coach loved what he saw, but Harbaugh also admitted he already knew Moore had those feelings for the head coach.
“Yeah, I was like 5 inches from the TV to watch that. I mean, it was beautiful. I’ll remember that, too. I know I said I’ll remember Grace’s letter til they throw dirt over top of me, but I’ll remember what Sherrone said, too,” Harbaugh said. “And Blake (Corum) and all the players. And I already know. I already know. It’s like you already know. I know how he feels, I know how the players feel, they know how I feel. But it meant a lot, means a lot, much appreciated.”
Harbaugh is currently suspended for the remainder of the regular season but Michigan is fighting to get the head coach back on the sidelines. If he remains suspended, Harbaugh confirmed Moore will be the interim coach to finish the regular season.
