Most Michigan fans could probably tell you that Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards will be the top 2 RBs in Ann Arbor this fall. Jim Harbaugh spoke about which backs are competing for the 3rd spot on the depth chart on Wednesday per Ryan Zuke of Mlive.

The Wolverines are going to be using a tandem at RB this season, much like they did in 2021. Hassan Haskins is gone, and the team believes Edwards will be a great secondary option to Corum. There are a number of players who are in the running, according to Harbaugh.

“Tavierre Dunlap, C.J. Stokes is going to be right there,” Harbaugh said. “He could be that kind of guy. Isaiah Gash, Leon Franklin, pretty darn good, too. Those are the guys that would be contending for that third back spot.”

Another player that could be competing for the job is Kalel Mullings, who has been taking snaps at RB as of late. The No. 3 spot in the Michigan backfield is up for grabs.
