On Saturday, Michigan took care of business against Illinois, winning, 42-25.

The game wasn’t an easy, happy-go-lucky 17-point victory, though. Michigan led 28-0 and was in cruise control. However, Illinois wasn’t going to just lay over.

The Fighting Illini went on to score 25 unanswered points to make it 28-25 in the fourth quarter. Michigan did end up responding, of course, sealing the victory. The momentum though, thanks to a 25-0 stretch, was certainly all in Illinois’ favor.

You could feel it.

Well, most of us could. The Wolverines apparently couldn’t:

Harbaugh said the team “didn’t flinch.” Really? It had no reaction or wasn’t worried at all seeing its 28-point lead disappear into a three-point one?

I need to have whatever the Wolverines are having. That being said, again, Michigan responded to being punched in the mouth. It did what it needed to do.

Michigan gets to travel to take on Penn State next week. Maybe that will get the Wolverines to feel uncomfortable for a bit.
