Jim Harbaugh is facing a 4-game suspension due to NCAA violations. At Thursday’s Big Ten Media Days, Harbaugh did not have much to say on the matter.
Harbaugh told reporters that he’s not allowed to talk about the situation, citing NCAA confidentiality, per Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports. The Michigan head coach only offered that he would like to be able to share his side of the story.
Jim Harbaugh on the NCAA investigation: “I’m not allowed to talk about any aspect of that.. I’d love to lay it all out there. Nothing to be ashamed of. But now is not that time. And that’s about all there is to say about that.”

Harbaugh’s suspension is part of a negotiated resolution for making false statements to NCAA investigators. The news was first reported Tuesday.
U-M’s first 4 games of the 2023 season are home contests against East Carolina, UNLV, Bowling Green and Rutgers. Harbaugh’s return would be for the Wolverines’ trip to Nebraska on Sept. 30.
