There’s a real chance Wilton Speight could be back under center for Michigan sometime in the next three games according to head coach Jim Harbaugh.
During his Monday press conference, the Wolverines head coach was asked if there was a chance that Speight could return at some point this season. While not getting too specific, Harbaugh did say that the injured quarterback is healing quickly and there is a chance he could make an appearance.

Harbaugh on Wilton "yes there is (a chance he can get back)" "some of the doctors are a bit stunned it's so far along"

Speight was injured in the B1G opener against Purdue, suffered from a serious back injury. He was expected to miss the rest of the 2017 season, but his quick recovery means he might be able to step on the field at least one more time.
It’s not expected to be this week, though, as Harbaugh said Brandon Peters will get the start under center for the Wolverines against Maryland on Saturday.
Speight has played in just four games for Michigan this season, completing 44-of-81 passes for 581 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.
