Michigan rolled to another win on Saturday, improving to 5-0 on the season.

Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh said after the game that Michigan “stepped up to the plate and big-time players made big-time plays.”

Harbaugh pointed out several high-performers, including QB JJ McCarthy, as having an impact on the game. The QB was 18-for-25 for 155 yards and a TD to Donovan Edwards in the back of the end zone for the team’s first touchdown in the second half.

The Wolverines’ win was a result of hard play according to Harbaugh, who said “Really great performance, I thought our guys just strained and played really hard.”

Another member of the team who played really hard for the Wolverines was DE Mike Morris. The edge rusher was a looming presence in the backfield for the Wolverines, recording 2 sacks in the game. Harbaugh praised the efforts, saying “He has a huge motor, 6-foot-7, 290 lbs. and he’s got a big heart, right there.”

All the elements came together on Saturday as No. 4 Michigan took down the Hawkeyes 27-14 in Kinnick Stadium.
