Jim Harbaugh and his No. 2 Michigan Wolverines are in a fight to get to the national championship game for the first time since 1997.

They will have to get through the No. 3 TCU Horned Frogs in the 2022 VRBO Fiesta Bowl. Two turnovers, including a pick-6 early in the game, have been a huge reason why the Wolverines were down 21-6 at halftime.

After talking to his team at halftime, Harbaugh talked to ESPN reporter Molly McGrath on the keys for the remainder of the game:

“First thing we talked about was getting the rhythm back, getting the rhythm back and playing our game,” said Harbaugh. “We spotted them some points, that makes us mad. We’ve not ended these drives… but we’ll go back to work, I know everyone’s on the same page.”

The Wolverines have been more efficient on the offensive side of the ball through the middle of the thrid quarter than in the entire first half. With 6:34 left in the third quarter, quarterback J.J. McCarthy found wide receiver Ronnie Bell on a flea-flicker to put the Wolverines within one score.
