Jim Harbaugh shares team's mindset, response to Mike Hart's medical emergency
Jim Harbaugh posted a message on social media about the Mike Hart incident that happened on the Michigan sidelines. The assistant coach was carted off the field due to a medical emergency against Indiana.
Hart collapsed on the Michigan sidelines during a commercial break after a Hoosiers touchdown. Harbaugh’s message on social media talked about how the team reacted and what the overall mindset was during that moment.
Here’s what the message from Harbaugh said:
Mike (Hart) had a medical emergency during the game and he’s in stable condition. He’s going to stay overnight in Bloomington for continued observation. Mike is a strong guy and abundant prayers go his way…..it really puts things in perspective. In the moment, everybody’s thoughts were with Mike. Mine were and everyone around us was to get him the care that he needed…The most important thing is his health at that point in time.

Hart will be staying at a hospital in Bloomington overnight for more observations. Harbaugh emphasized how strong of a person that Hart is.
Hopefully Hart will be well enough to be on Michigan’s sidelines for the game against Penn State next week.
