Jim Harbaugh is proud of the way his locker room has remained connected this season. In fact, it’s so impressive that the head coach referenced his mom’s bathing suits to describe their togetherness.

Speaking at his Monday press conference, Harbaugh said the team is still in one piece despite the outside noise of a sign-stealing investigation and a mid-season firing of LB coach Chris Partridge. Harbaugh then dialed up an amazing analogy from Ted Lasso to illustrate his point.

“Locker rooms, a lot like my mom’s bathing suits. I like to see them in one piece,” said Harbaugh to a chorus of laughter from the media.

That togetherness was once again put on display with Michigan fighting to a hard-fought win against Maryland. Sherrone Moore continued to shine as the acting head coach as the Wolverines built a big lead then fought off a late Terrapin comeback with the defense providing multiple clutch plays.

Now, the team’s chemistry will be put to the ultimate test against Ohio State in The Game.
