J.J. McCarthy says Michigan is ready for the Buckeyes next weekend, but considering how the Wolverines played on Saturday, that may leave some room for doubt.

To say Michigan struggled on Saturday would be somewhat of an understatement. The Wolverines couldn’t find an offensive rhythm, trailing for much of the second half, and entered the 4th quarter trailing 17-10.

Michigan relied on its kicker, Jake Moody, to put 9 points on the board in the 4th quarter, including the game-winning FG with 9 seconds remaining in the game.

Despite lackluster play on Saturday, Michigan is looking forward to Ohio State according to the QB who said “100%. We’re ready no matter what.” The Wolverines also recognize there is a lot for the Michigan offense left to handle with McCarthy saying there’s “a lot of meat on the bone: It’s still on the bone, and it’s ready to come off next Saturday.”

The Buckeyes and Wolverines face off next Saturday at noon ET at Ohio Stadium.
