Joel Klatt compares Michigan to death by boa constrictor: 'Good luck'
Joel Klatt had rave reviews for what he has seen from Michigan thus far on “The Joel Klatt Show” this week, citing how balanced the Wolverines have been on both sides of the ball.
“This is a team that moves slowly, it’s not explosive, it’s not flashy, it’s death eventually…and inevitably,” said Klatt. “It’s like being in a small cage with a boa constrictor. You will eventually die.”
The popular broadcaster for FOX cited that the Michigan defense has yet to allow more than 17 points in a game, and taking away garbage time, the unit has only allowed 13 points.
“Who’s stopping that run game? I don’t know, maybe Penn State, maybe Ohio State,” Klatt said. “Nebraska was the No. 2 rush defense in the country entering their game, allowing 46 yards per game and 1.8 yards per carry. Michigan ran it 51 times for 249 yards and 4.9 yards per carry.”
The Wolverines are set to take on Minnesota in the Battle for the Little Brown Jug on Saturday at 7:30 ET on NBC.
