Joel Klatt praises JJ McCarthy's growth with Michigan: 'He is the catalyst to the offense'
JJ McCarthy has played like one of the top quarterbacks in the country this season.
The Michigan QB has 18 touchdowns with 3 interceptions this season, averaging 237 passing yards per game. But it’s not just his numbers. McCarthy is more confident with his reads and is making quicker decisions because of it, which has elevated Michigan’s offense as a whole.
Joel Klatt said as much Thursday. On his podcast he mentioned that the Wolverines offense ahs been built around him and that he is the catalyst for all the success UM has had this season.
“JJ is playing amazing. He is the catalyst to the offense, it’s an offense that has totally evolved from a year ago,” Klatt said. “Nobody talks about it but I will, because this is a passing-oriented offense. And they would hate me saying that, but that’s the strength of their team.”

Michigan’s defense is just as strong. Let’s see what the Wolverines as made of.
