John Harbaugh undoubtedly has a lot of pride in his brother Jim Harbaugh, and that pride has even grown in the face of the NCAA investigation and recent suspension by the B1G.

Speaking with the media on Tuesday, John said he’s “proud as heck” for Jim and the way he’s conducted himself throughout the sign-stealing investigation:

“I have a lot of opinions, obviously. I’m his brother. I’m proud as heck of him. I’m really impressed with the way he’s handled himself throughout this, I mean it’s been a long run,” said John. “Everything can be done — his phone, his computers have all been looked at, and he’s come through this thing with flying colors.”

The head coach of the Baltimore Ravens pointed to authorities having a lack of “anything of substance” against Jim. John believes that is a compliment to Jim and the Harbaugh family.

“I don’t know what they’re trying to get, but they don’t have anything of substance, and I just think I’m proud of him,” John explained. “I think it’s a real compliment to out family, to him. Something for us to be proud of…

“He’s a great man, he’s a great coach, his players love him. His coaches love him, and he stands tall through all this.”

It’s not likely John would ever say anything else about his brother, but he certainly has Jim’s back with everything that is going on.
