Jordan Marshall: Wolverines intent on returning to 'Michigan's standard' after 2024 setback
Jordan Marshall wanted to say it out loud, for everyone to hear.
Michigan‘s freshman running back, who only had 8 carries for 20 yards all season, busted out in a big way on the field in Tuesday’s ReliaQuest Bowl victory over Alabama with 23 carries for exactly 100 yards. The rain-soaked bowl victory in Tampa finished off Michigan’s 2024 season at 8-5, which qualifies as a successful season at many programs but not in Ann Arbor. And especially not with the Wolverines coming off a 2023 season in which they won their first national title since 1997.
Marshall wants Michigan to get back to competing for another championship in 2025, and he figures to be a big part of Michigan’s pursuit of another crown next fall.
