Michigan basketball head coach Juwan Howard appeared to snap at one of his own players Wednesday night following an argument with officials.
A few Michigan players were trying to hold Howard back from jawing too much with an official with under 1 minute remaining in Michigan’s game against North Carolina. He yelled at both players, appearing to say “Don’t F—- touch me” among other things.

This is far from the first outburst from Howard during his Michigan tenure. He’s gotten into verbal fights with former Maryland coach Mark Turgeon and struck Wisconsin assistant Joe Krabbenhoft following a loss last season.
There’s a fine line between demanding respect and Howard’s antics. Many felt he should have lost his job following his incident with Krabbenhoft last season while some disagree, but either way the fact that things like this are becoming a habit seems to be troublesome for the Wolverines.
Michigan fell to North Carolina Wednesday and now sits at 7-4 on the season. Howard is 68-36 during his 3 and a half years as head coach in Ann Arbor.
