Juwan Howard didn’t shy away from talking about the Penn State-Michigan matchup in Week 7. Howard plans on being there in full force, according to 247Sports’ Alejandro Zuniga.

Howard talked about the “Maize Out” environment and how excited he is to be a part of it. Basketball season may be happening in a few weeks, but Howard is going to be watching the Wolverines’ football team this weekend.

“I’m going to be loud. I’m going to be active,” said Howard. “I’m going to be yelling, ‘Defense! Defense! Defense!’ That’s the only thing I know. I’m so excited about the game tomorrow.”

Howard’s team will have to wait until Nov. 7 for their season to start, so why not get excited about Michigan football? Purdue-Fort Wayne will be Michigan basketball’s first opponent of the 2022 season.

Michigan basketball had a 19-15 finish to 2021. The Wolverines eventually lost to Villanova in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
