Juwan Howard is absolutely feeling the heat after another disastrous performance out of Michigan.

Early on, Michigan was in complete control of Saturday’s game against Rutgers. The Wolverines built a 39-30 halftime lead and boosted that lead to 15 points with 17 minutes left in the game.

However, that did not lead to a comfortable win for Howard’s program. Michigan scored just 12 points in the final 17 minutes as Rutgers finished the game on a 37-12 run for the 69-59 win. It is the first-ever win for the Scarlet Knights in Ann Arbor.

Michigan losing a game after that kind of lead is bad enough. Losing by double digits is nearly inconceivable. As a result, Howard is dealing with the wrath of social media, and it’s safe to say the hot seat is cranked up in Ann Arbor.

With the loss, the Wolverines continue to dwell in last place in the B1G with a 2-9 league record. They are 1-10 in their last 11 games and have now lost 5 straight games, including 3 games at home.

Will Juwan Howard live to see another season as the head coach of the Wolverines? Time will tell, but a number of fans have seen enough.
