Juwan Howard takes swing at Wisconsin assistant after UM-UW game

Juwan Howard looks to be in a lot of trouble. The Michigan head coach appeared to take a swing at a Wisconsin assistant after the Badgers defeated the Wolverines 77-63.
The CBS broadcast noted that Howard was reluctant to enter the handshake line. He had a heated discussion with Wisconsin Greg Gard, who grabbed Howard’s arm to keep the coach from walking past. As members of both teams huddled around their coaches amid the commotion, Howard then made physical contact with Badgers assistant Joe Krabbenhoft. The CBS broadcasters described Howard as “grabbing” Krabbenhoft while many on Twitter described it as “taking a swing” or “throwing a punch.”

Howard was upset by Wisconsin calling timeout with 15 seconds left with a double-digit lead. Out of timeout, Michigan fouled to extend the game.
Greg Gard postgame to Andrew Catalon and Steve Lappas. I’m condensing Gard’s quote here. “Apparently he didnt’ like that I called a timeout to reset the 10-second call … I didn’t want to put my backups … I’ll leave it at that and the tape will show the rest.”

The college basketball world looks on to see what kind of punishment Howard receives for his action.
The @bigten won’t/shouldn’t stand for that behavior. I fully expect commissioner Kevin Warren to come down hard on this one.
