Kalel Mullings was used in a trick play for Michigan during the 2nd half. The LB turned RB threw a jump pass to TE Luke Schoonmaker.

Michigan pulled a trick out of its hat on 3rd down. J.J. McCarthy lined up under center in the I-formation with Mullings at RB. Mullings got the hand off from McCarthy and instead of running through the offensive line, he threw a jump pass to Schoonmaker for the first down.

McCarthy later scored with his legs on a 3-yard TD during that same drive. It looks like Jim Harbaugh’s gamble on 3rd down paid dividends as Michigan now has a two score lead.

Things are not looking good for the Buckeyes, who need to find a way to score quickly. We’ll keep you posted on any more scores from The Game.
