Kris Jenkins is not going to lose any sleep over a loss for Ohio State. But, even he had a tough time watching Ohio State’s 14-3 loss in the Cotton Bowl.

On Saturday, Jenkins met with the media to discuss the College Football Playoff and looming matchup with Alabama in the Rose Bowl. The topic of Ohio State’s loss to Missouri came up, but Jenkins surprisingly said he did not enjoy that loss by the Buckeyes.

Jenkins admitted he’s “a hater” but he also acknowledged the way Ohio State looked is not the same team Michigan faced to end the season. That’s understandable with Marvin Harrison Jr. opting out, Kyle McCord transferring to Syracuse and Tommy Eichenberg unavailable.

Jenkins went on to say he definitely didn’t want to see the Buckeyes win but it was “rough” to watch a rival go out the way the Buckeyes did.

It’s unlikely rival fans are as sympathetic to the plight of Ryan Day and Ohio State as Jenkins, but Jenkins certainly feels just fine after 3 straight wins against the Buckeyes. Now, the star defender gets a chance to help the Wolverines conquer the Playoff with a matchup against Alabama.
