Kris Jenkins has solidified his status for the 2023 season. The impact defensive lineman for Michigan confirmed Monday on social media that he will return to Ann Arbor for another season.

“I want to hank my Michigan family for all the unconditional love and support you’ve given me over th epast three years,” wrote Jenkins. “You have made A2 my home for life…

“I am really excited to continue my academic and athletic career at the best university in America. Last year wasn’t enough. It’s time to take care of some unfinished business.”

Jenkins had previously indicated ahead of the College Football Playoff that he intended to use another year of eligibility in 2023. However, reports surfaced a week ago that Jenkins was undecided and still mulling his options and projected stock for the NFL Draft.

Now, the Wolverines can move forward with Jenkins on board. He finished the 2022 season fifth for Michigan’s defense with 54 total tackles to go with 3.5 TFL and 2 sacks.
