Kris Jenkins is unbothered if you want to treat Michigan as the villain of college football. It hasn’t stopped the program yet, and the Wolverines are now one win away from a national title.

Heading into the Rose Bowl vs. Alabama, many questioned Michigan’s toughness and ability to hang with the Crimson Tide. In the end, the Wolverines showed their worth with a late rally to tie the game and force overtime.

As a part of Michigan’s win, Jenkins contributed a sack to the 6 delivered by the Wolverine defense. He was also understandably amped up after the win and sent a message to all of Michigan’s doubters.

At the end of the day, Jenkins cautioned those doubting Michigan or casting the villain label that they would still have to watch the team play for a national championship:

“Keep doubting us, man! Keep making us the villain! You know why? Because we don’t care, man,” Jenkins exclaimed. “We’re gonna keep doing what we do best and you’re gonna have to watch us! That’s the real.”

Jenkins and the Wolverine advance to the CFP National Championship and a matchup with Washington. Michigan is an early favorite for that game per ESPN Bet with a shot at Michigan’s first title since the 1990s.
