Kwity Paye blows past OL, secures sack with tenacious pass rush
Kwity Paye is gearing up for his rookie season in the NFL, and he put his pass-rushing skillset on display Saturday evening.
Paye is playing with the Indianapolis Colts after the Colts made him a first-round draft pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Indianapolis saw enough of his abilities to take Paye with the 21st overall pick in the draft, and he showed why on this play.
Taking on the Minnesota Vikings, Paye burst off the line with the snap and was able to beat the left tackle. Paye was able to get by with some nice hand fighting before showing his closing speed in getting to the quarterback.
It’s the kind of combination in getting to the QB that could lead to an impact career for Paye:

In 4 seasons with the Wolverines, Paye finished with 23.5 TFL and 11.5 sacks.
