Lane Kiffin and Jim Harbaugh might be two of the most unique head coaches in all of college football. Actually, that might be true for all of football.

On Wednesday afternoon, the two coaches were on the same field as Kiffin stopped in to check out the Wolverines’ Outback Bowl practice. He also stopped by to visit Will Muschamp and South Carolina yesterday.

This was nothing too fancy, as Kiffin showed up sporting a white, long-sleeved shirt, some fashionable multi-colored shorts and flip flops. It is Florida, after all. Harbaugh, of course, was sporting khakis.

There didn’t seem to be a real reason behind Kiffin dropping in on Michigan’s practice, but it’s a pretty cool gesture from the Florida Atlantic head coach.

Maybe both Muschamp and Harbaugh wanted to pick Kiffin’s brain for some of his best offensive plays. Both South Carolina and Michigan could use a little bit of help on that side of the ball.

South Carolina and Michigan are set to square off in the Outback Bowl on New Year’s Day with kickoff scheduled for noon. Maybe Kiffin will stop by Tampa dressed up in the Bloomin’ Onion mascot outfit on Monday.
