All-American accolades didn’t change Jourdan Lewis’ mind.

He isn’t going anywhere.

On Tuesday, Lewis reaffirmed his plans to return to Ann Arbor for his senior year, despite the fact that he was one of the nation’s top cornerbacks in 2015.

He talked about his decision to tweet two months ago that he “had no plans of leaving Michigan after three years.”

“It was more pressure than ever at that point where people (were) asking me left and right should I stay,” Lewis told the Detroit Free Press. “ ‘Are you going to stay or are you going to go?’ It was everybody, everything involved. I just wanted everybody to know what my decision is.”

Even though he did everything he could to squash NFL rumors, he still had people asking him about his future.

“Now it’s more like, ‘Are you sure?’ ” he told the Detroit Free Press. “Just making sure my mind is made up. I can tell you I’m 100% coming back.”

It’s major news for Michigan, which boasted one of the top secondaries in the country in 2015, thanks in large part to Lewis. The junior set a Wolverine single-season record with 21 pass breakups and is fourth on the school’s all-time list.

Even though he has no plans of declaring early, he did say he’d be open to applying for NFL Draft Advisory Committee.

“It’d be nice to know, but I’m going to come back no matter what happens,” he said.

Lewis will look to lead Michigan to a Citrus Bowl victory against Florida on Jan. 1. He could be without fellow defensive back Jabrill Peppers, who is questionable because he’s working through a hand injury.
