In a few weeks, football will be back on the field at Michigan Stadium. But, on Saturday night, the home of the Wolverines will be the host of an international soccer match.
FC Barcelona and SSC Napoli will square off for a friendly soccer match in Ann Arbor on Saturday. Obviously, Michigan Stadium will look a little different than it does on a traditional fall afternoon.
Here are some pictures and images from the makeover ahead of Saturday night’s game. Teams will take the “pitch” at 5 p.m. ET and the game will air on ESPN2.
